Hi, my name is Lou. I ride a Marin Eldridge Grade 2010, with borrowed forks and bought DMR V8′s. I like climbing hills which aren’t too steep and going very fast down the other side. I draw silly stick figure cartoons about biking and other things which can be found under the cartoon menu. I write a lot about riding my bike which can be found under the MTB menu. I waffle on a lot about random things I see and do – those witterings are under the The bits that aren’t biking menu.
I also write a lot about local government, public sector work, general geekery, GIS, opendata, big society and hacking stuff so it works over on my other blog A shiny World.
I work for a Council as a Multi Media Communications Officer which is large amounts of fun but very hard work and occasionally silly hours. Mountain biking is my stress relief, where a lot of my confidence comes from, and where I have met some really rather amazing and shiny people. I love it very much. The words here will probably give you an idea of just how much.
