Some days, it just dont go the way you want

Posted on 14th November 2010 in Cartoons

It hasn't happened yet, but it's why we ride trail centres or tag along with other people - because neither of us can read a map for toffee and so if we did wander off into the great wilds - this is exactly what would happen. We know this. So we don't risk it. Hike a bike for a mile or so is fine. Hike a bike for more than that is asking for twisted ankles and tantrums.

Mud on the moon

Posted on 14th November 2010 in Cartoons

You think I'm joking? Mostly rock track? Yep, covered in mud. Road riding? Nope, no chance of being clean. If there's a fluid ounce of liquid around, I'll find it with my front wheel.

Cartoons

Posted on 14th November 2010 in Cartoons

Huzzah, the cartoon tab up above now has something in it! Thanks to an iPhone doubling as a scanner and some persistent editing in GIMP which has rubbed off some of the edges but not all, scribbles from the last 6 months – well some of them – are now there. Or, if you’re reading this entry under the Cartoon tab, here.

I’m not an artist. Armed with nothing more than some sharpies, pencils, paper and a panda mechnical eraser and a serious sense of self depreciation, I draw stuff. They’re scribbles. Laughable scribbles. I hope you enjoy them. If you identify with them, leave a comment.

I also need to give more than a passing nod to XKCD, the inspiration from which I have gained I would imagine is quite evident.

Apologies to those whose RSS feed is about to light up like a Xmas tree. Future posting will be less in bulk, I promise.
